Automotive

NODAR’s long-range and high-resolution allows for quicker detection of long-distance objects, such as humans, making autonomous vehicles even safer. Whether it's ADAS or full autonomy, NODAR can help.

 

Trucking

Trucks require 1.5x longer range in the forward configuration compared to passenger vehicles to give enough stopping time for a more massive vehicle. Thanks to the wider width of the truck, 3 m between side view mirrors, Hammerhead can see far enough ahead to give the trick sufficient time to stop.

New regulations are requiring trucks to be able to see cyclists and pedestrians around the vehicle to avoid fatal accidents. Hammerhead’s wide field of view and wide-baseline system gives sufficient coverage *and*range to satisfy these new regulations.

 

Robotaxis

Fully automated vehicles such as robotaxis require reliable 3D information, around the car and at long distance in front of the car. Working within a sensor fusion environment, NODAR Hammerhead supplies the perception system with high-resolution 3D data in realtime, as well as confidence measures to assist in fusing data between sensors.

 

Last Mile Delivery

The era of receiving pizzas, electronics, and household goods via delivery robots is upon us. These automated vehicles must navigate complex surroundings, keeping humans safe along the way. NODAR is able to provide robust realtime 3D information to these navigation systems, doing so within the constrained power, compute and financial budgets mandated by these purpose-built vehicles.
