Automated 3D Asset Inspection
Visual inspection of large industrial assets — shipping containers, rolling stock, aircraft ground equipment, heavy machinery — is slow, inconsistent, and hard to audit. Damage is missed. Disputes are expensive. At scale, the economics don't work.
NODAR AssetView replaces subjective human assessment with physics-based 3D measurement, delivering metrically accurate damage reports quickly and continuously.
Unlike handheld scanners that require operators to walk the asset at close range, AssetView captures the full inspection from up to 10 meters away — the asset keeps moving, the system does the work.

Wide-Baseline Stereo Vision at Industrial Scale
AssetView is built on NODAR's Hammerhead system — patented wide-baseline stereo camera technology that builds dense, metrically accurate 3D depth maps of large structures in real time. Unlike LiDAR, Hammerhead combines high-resolution RGB imagery with depth data, enabling both structural measurement and surface-level anomaly detection from the same sensor array, at a fraction of the cost.
Wide-baseline stereo
Independently mounted camera pairs with 0.5m+ baselines and patented per-frame software calibration — no rigid beam, no recalibration downtime.
3D digital twin
On-site photogrammetry fuses live depth maps into a metrically accurate 3D reconstruction, compared against a clean reference model to isolate damage.
Full surface coverage
Camera arrays configured to cover all exterior faces simultaneously — sides, top, undercarriage, and interior — with no gaps and no manual repositioning.
Millimeter accuracy
±0.7 cm stereo precision at 5m standoff, refined to sub-millimeter after photogrammetric fusion — exceeding typical inspection thresholds by an order of magnitude.
Automated reporting
Every inspection produces a timestamped PDF, CSV, and full point cloud — damage located on the 3D model with photographic evidence and cost estimates.
Rugged by design
IP67-rated cameras with 140dB HDR, operational to 100°C. No supplemental lighting required. Designed for continuous outdoor operation in dust, heat, and variable light.
Every inspection. Every deliverable. Automatically.
AssetView produces a complete, audit-ready evidence package for every asset that passes through, with no manual steps or post-processing delay.
3D point cloud
Full 3D reconstruction of every asset
A metrically accurate, dense point cloud of the entire asset exterior is captured automatically during each pass, stored and retrievable per inspection ID.
— Millimeter-level spatial accuracy after photogrammetric fusion— All six faces including undercarriage— Permanent digital record for trend analysis and dispute resolution
Damage localization
Damage mapped precisely on the 3D model
Every detected anomaly, including dents, holes, deformations, and surface damage, is localized to an exact coordinate on the digital twin, with photographic evidence attached.
— Damage type classified and severity quantified— High-resolution imagery linked to each finding— Compared against clean reference model, not human judgment
Cost estimation
Repair costs estimated in real time
Repair costs calculated automatically per inspection using an industry-standard model, refinable over time using your historical records and domain data.
— IICL-aligned estimation framework— Improves with operational data over time— Consistent, auditable cost basis across all inspections
Inspection report
Every finding documented and delivered
A complete, structured inspection record — timestamped, tagged with asset ID, and logged to cloud storage — ready for integration into your existing workflows.
— Human-readable PDF and machine-readable CSV
— Asset ID, inspection timestamp, and operator metadata
— API access and DMS integration available

Physics-based 3D measurement, delivering metrically accurate damage reports quickly and continuously.
Built for any large-format asset
AssetView is hardware-configurable and software-agnostic to asset type. Camera placement, field of view, detection thresholds, and report formats are all adaptable without changes to the core pipeline.
Port Logistics
Shipping container inspection
Gate-mounted gantry systems inspect all six faces of standard ISO containers — including undercarriage — as trucks pass through at normal operating speed. Structural damage, BIC code capture, and repair cost estimation in under 90 seconds per container. Proven in GCC outdoor conditions.
Rail
Rolling stock and rail infrastructure
Wide-baseline stereo arrays mounted along trackside gantries capture full exterior condition of rail cars as they pass — detecting deformations, surface damage, and structural anomalies without stopping the train or requiring manual walkaround inspection.
Aviation
Ground support equipment & infrastructure
Fixed multi-camera installations on airport infrastructure deliver precise 3D perception for inspection of passenger boarding bridges, ground vehicles, and airside equipment.
Mining & Construction
Heavy vehicle and equipment inspection
The same Hammerhead system used in vehicle guidance can be repurposed for structural condition monitoring of large equipment fleets.
