HDK Reference Design License

Effective Date: Janaury 1, 2026

I. Grant of License

The Licensor grants the Licensee a Worldwide, Perpetual, and Non-Exclusive license to use the provided Reference Design Files (CAD, BOM, and Assembly documentation).

II. Scope of Use

Modification: You have the full right to modify, adapt, and create Derivative Works based on the HDK design to fit your specific product requirements.

Manufacturing: You may manufacture, or have manufactured by a third party, hardware products based on these designs.

Commercialization: You may brand, market, and sell products incorporating the licensed design globally without additional royalty payments.

III. Intellectual Property (IP)

Ownership: NODAR retains all original ownership of the HDK Reference Design and underlying technology.

Feedback: Any improvements or modifications made by the Licensee remain the property of the Licensee, provided they do not infringe on the original HDK core IP.

IV. Deliverables

Upon execution of this license, the following technical package will be provided:

  • Mechanical: Native SolidWorks CAD models and 2D assembly drawings.

  • Manufacturing: Step-by-step IP67 camera assembly videos and work instructions.

  • Procurement: A complete Bill of Materials (BOM) including verified vendors for sensors, lenses, and specialized cables.

V. Limitations & Liability

"As-Is" Provision: The design is provided as a reference. While tested, the Licensee is responsible for final product certification (e.g., FCC, CE, UL) and quality control.

No Warranty: NODAR provides no warranty, express or implied, regarding the fitness of the design for a specific commercial application.
